In this panel discussion, Charlotte Cotton, curator and head of LACMA's Photography Department, and artists Arthur Ou, Michael Queenland, and Mark Wyse weigh in on a question that continues to create an albatross around photography’s neck. In light of photography’s increasing dialogue with other media and its pervasive role in the art market the conversation will focus on the different mitigating circumstances currently facing photography within contemporary art discourse.
Participants are CHARLOTTE COTTON, ARTHUR OU, MICHAEL QUEENLAND and MARK WYSE.
